Fitness Festival & Walkathon
Promoting Health, Wellness & Active Living
Mitra Maheshwari Seva Pratisthan organizes a *Fitness Festival every year during the month of December* to promote health, wellness, and an active lifestyle within the community.
During this month-long festival, various health and fitness activities are organized *every Sunday of December, encouraging participation from people of all age groups. The activities include programs such as **Zumba, Hasya Yoga, Yoga, Trekking, and other wellness initiatives* that promote both physical and mental well-being.
As part of the Fitness Festival, the Pratisthan also encourages community members to participate in a *Monthly Fitness Challenge* during December. Members are invited to take up a daily walking challenge of *10,000 steps for men and 5,000 steps for women* throughout the month. This initiative motivates participants to stay active and adopt healthier daily habits.
Members who successfully complete the challenge are recognized and rewarded with a *surprise gift during the Fitness Festival*, celebrating their commitment to health and fitness.
The festival concludes with a *Walkathon on the first Sunday of the New Year*, where community members, families, and youth come together to celebrate fitness, unity, and a healthy start to the year.
Through the Fitness Festival and Walkathon, the Pratisthan aims to inspire people to adopt a healthier lifestyle while strengthening community participation, motivation, and togetherness.
